Yes, eSIM Korea Unlimited Data & Calls work everywhere in Korea. We select and offer the best data plans which provide the best nationwide coverage.
You can purchase an eSIM at your convenience, either one day before your travel date or upon arrival at your destination.
The data plan will start as soon as you connect to the Korean local network. 24 hours is counted as 1 day and counted continuously from the point of service activation.
Please note that to install the eSIM, your device must be connected to a Wi-Fi or a cellular data network.
Additionally, please make sure that Removing the eSIM will delete the data plan from your phone permanently. Once removed, reinstalling the eSIM is not possible, and it cannot be transferred to another device.
For ‘Unlimited Data+Incoming Calls Only’ plan, you’ll receive a 010 phone number, allowing you to receive calls and SMS, but you won’t be able to make outgoing calls or send SMS.
For ‘Unlimited Data+Calls’ plan, a 010 phone number is provided. To enable outgoing calls and SMS, an additional fee for voice calls is required at the airport counter during pickup.
- If you don’t make an extra payment for outgoing Calls/SMS, the eSIM will ONLY support incoming Calls/SMS.
- Minimum charge cost is KRW 5,500 (VAT included). If you top up 5,500 KRW, you can use 20 mins of calls.
- Outgoing calls/SMS fees are automatically deducted from the charged balance.
- After you left the airport and want to top up more credit, please visit the LG U+ SIM Voice Top-up page.
You can use this number to make walk-in dining reservations and to register for essential apps for traveling in Korea, such as KakaoTalk and Kakao Taxi.
However, please note that it cannot be used for apps that require personal identity verification (e.g., banking or government apps).
Please note that we do not offer a top-up service for eSIM Korea Unlimited Data. Instead, we recommend purchasing a new eSIM plan and installing it on your device again.
